The Laurie Award provides $4,000 to support a student enrolled in a Certificate (III or IV), Diploma, or Degree contributing to the field of automotive design and customisation, helping to cover fees and equipment costs.

We seek applicants who show a strong drive, commitment, and a passion for excelling in their learning of design principles, technical skills, and practical application - qualities that Laurie exemplified in his brief yet remarkable life.

Submissions are reviewed by the Starling family with assistance from leaders in the custom vehicle industry.
